A 28-year-old corrections deputy, Johnesha Rucker, has been charged with official misconduct and sexual contact with a prisoner at the Shelby County Jail in Tennessee. Rucker allegedly abused her authority to commit these offenses. Her bond is $100,000. The law maintains that inmates cannot provide legal consent to sexual contact with corrections officers due to their custodial relationship.
